Snow!

I knew it would be colder here than at home but the weather is freezing, its the chill factor of the wind. Crossing the mountains from Hamilton to Queenstown, there was a little snow on the ground and far off mountains.

There was more and more lying around, we stopped at a visitors information bay.

Smart people, they had put chicken wire down on the wooden boards so that people wouldn't slip.

Of course some-one had to make a snow ball! I backed away and it missed me by a foot. We were glad to get back in the car and head for Queenstown, coffee and a home made pastie.
