Quite a few newer looking houses here, there was a phone box (regulation grey not red) and a village hall and houses.
We were instructed to go to the phone box and then 50 metres to the house. We rang as it was a bit confusing, between Newtown and Irthington. The two places sort of join. We had to book a table at The Sally which is a pub in Irthington.
When we walked into the garden our host came out to met us and asked if we wanted coffee or tea in the garden. Yes, please!
Later at dinner time, we were driven to the Sally about four kilometres for dinner. Two meals, two drinks and a dessert was £38.
This was our room, we had an Ensuite.
View from our window, about seven in the morning.
