A broken door leads to.......

A trip to Bunnings of course. We werent sure if they would have the door lock to suit but thought it was worth a shot. Warren took photos of it before we went. It is the lock on the sliding glass door, thankfully we could still lock the screen door behind it so it was secure.

Of course they had one, just a little different in appearance but a lock and handle that fitted and worked.

I wandered around and also picked up a couple of things that can be used for caches.

A letter box, a pot plant lady bug, no smoking sign and a red reflector, now i just need to buy a combination lock, Bunnings had them too but I thought I could get one cheaper than the heavy duty ones they had.

Warren had the door fixed in an hour or so, probably saved $100 although the lock wasnt cheap at $70 bucks but i wouldnt like to think how many times it has been opened over the last fourteen years.
