We were packed and ready to go, driving out at 8.58. This may seem later but any earlier and we would have been caught up in the early morning traffic.
It was a bit of a drag and some hold ups with an accident but finally made it to the service on the edge of Kingscliff where our son and his family holiday.
I think every man and his dog was there, it was so hard to get a carpark with the camper.
Warren had selected a caravan park and rang to book in, oh no, they didn't take overnighters minimum was a week! It's not school holidays yet but some people do take early so we had to do some ringing around to get a place with a vacancy that took dogs.
It meant that we didn't go as far as we planned but forgot it was daylight savings still in NSW, we pulled in at 4.55pm, office closed at 5pm.
Woke earlier it seemed it of course it was normal time for us and we were packed and on our way at 7am (sun/Qld time 8am. Our stay was at Kempsey.
