This is approx 6 kms out of Alice and where the Larapinta trail starts or finishes, depending on which way people decide to go.
They decided that they would go from there and go West.
Backpacks in the back of the car, ready to go at about 10am, first stop was Wallaby gap, 13.4kms, apparently it was more like 16kms.
Aidan and I walked with them for about 300m.
We were going to have coffee and milkshakes at the cafe, however a coach had pulled in while we were on the trail. We did a short walk on Bradshaws and then drove back to the caravan park.
From there we walked to the cafe, as we got closer, I noticed there was an absence of cars. Buggar, it was Terriorty day, firework sales were advertised everywhere but it didnt occur to me that it was a public holiday. Oh, well, bit further on was Subway, they were open.
