We made our way to the esplanade, only two blocks away and wandered along. So many people out walking running cycling, thats when we read about the Ironman competition happening in Sunday. Apparently so many more people in town for that.
Discovered the Blue Marlin, the Reef Terminal and a ticketing place. Booked our tickets for Green Island and Kuranda, both full days. There is a lagoon that is in the shape of the state if Queensland.
Also discovered the closest supermarket so stocked up on some food. As we booked as airbnb, I expected a microwave but its only a family sized motel room so cannot cook or heat any meals. Bbq chicken for dinner.
