Teachers' Aide day

It was teacher aide day on Friday and on the table when we got to work was a gift for all of us TAs. In our small staff room there is ten of us, only three are full time, the other seven work between three and four days.

This was our gift.

Its a clever candle which is burning on its side! (or it could be the silly operator who didn't turn the photo before loading it)

There was also a card thanking me for my time and effort that I put in to the kids/students and their welfare.
Very nice to receive. It was actually a rough day at the coalface on Friday, its was Free Dress day as well as windy not a good combination but we got through it.

OMG! I have just been offered a job!

This was not the topic that I was going to write today but when I got home from the hospital visit, Warren says there's a message for you about a job.

And yes, I have been asked to work as  Teachers Aide for five weeks. Scary stuff but as I have been told, I have done it before just not in Australia!

It doesn't start until next month and I will have to organize to get a Blue card which enables me to work with kids.
