Boat ramp Perth

We wanted to go out  to the boat ramp and then walk along the river/sea side. I'm not sure which it was but there was a large marina and it was pleasant walking. Luckily we had chosen the day that was cooler max 26 degrees and overcast. We were going to catch a train or bus but as we walked out of the hotel, lo and behold there was a taxi and we thought why not, much easier than trying to navigate public transport in a new place.

We wanted to locate the Octopus and here it is above, not exactly what I was expecting.

and we saw several black swans out on the river, this one was very close and didnt want to move.
